Shallal
Hybrid hot pepper with very early maturity for open field and tunnel. Multi-purpose with a high pungency fit for fresh market, prepack and processing industry. Shallal has a continuous setting, ensuring very high yield and a long harvest period.
It has slightly tapering fruits 17x2.8cm in size with thick walls, making it ideal for pickling as chili rings. This variety is firm when picked green, softer and juicy when picked red and thus is exceptionally suitable for use in hot sauces.
